don’t overstress yourself! sounds like you’ve already made plans that are spaced out a little bit, by adding another might be too overwhelming.
That’s a fair point.
It also occurs to me that I intend to audition for this independent film within the next week or two. So, the diversification and Shakespeareanization of my resume will have to wait until a later date, I guess.
Unless I don’t audition for A Chorus Line.

I’m texting with her now and I don’t think I’m making much of an impact on her decision. She agrees with me, but I don’t think she’s going to come.

No, I don’t think that’s the case. Just, Maggie says she’s uncomfortable and that Jess is encroaching on her territory by coming to the show.
I think that Maggie’s being childish.
This is the SECOND time she’s doing this to Jess.
